Course Introduction: When Barack Obama was the President of America; he went to a school to meet American children. The progress of the children was not satisfactory, so he said to the children, “Listen to me carefully. Study with all your might, otherwise the Indian children are coming here.” This influence of Indian culture, talent and intelligence has been over the whole world for thousands of years. Google's SundarPichai, Microsoft's Satya Nadella, Vice President Kamala Harris are many such examples today. But thousands of years ago in pre-Christian times and before that the influence of Indian Vedic culture and civilization was strong all over the world. There is a lot of evidence of this in the Maya culture, the Inca culture located on the American land. Recently a replica of a Sri Yantra was exposed in Peru. Indian symbols such as Om, Swastika, Lotus, Garuda, Ganesh, Nagdevta are visible in every corner of the world. The name “Rome” is also derived from the word “Ram". Picture in a cave found in Italy in which Rama, Sita and Lakshman are seen in Roman style. Central Asia and Southeast Asia were as if a division of the united India. Bali, Java, KambujDesh, Siam, Champa, Brahmadesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal were all part of Indian culture. Indian culture was flourishing in East Africa, South Africa too. Even today, Indian people are living in large quantities in countries like Bali, Mauritius, Fiji. Wherever Indian people live in the world, they have made their impact there. Every Indian should follow the glorious Indian footprints spread all over the world.
